Several years ago, I posted this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi with 1 parking spot on a 30 x 89 foot lot at 237 Av. Querbes in Outremont, Montreal.
It wasn't a huge house and the kitchen is definitely interesting. But it was a good house.
It's just that the price was a little steep...
$1,525,000.
It looks like perhaps it never sold unless the current owners bought the basement furniture...
And moved it to the living room...
Or maybe it just never sold because the price was so high.
Well, it's back on the market and the listing seems to explain why it never sold. Apparently $280,000 in renovation work was done in 2015 and according to the listing, some of that work included...

And...
'Complete new framing, partitions and stairs'
And...
'Urethane and Rigid insulation on exterior walls'
And...
'Complete new electrical' and 'Complete new plumbing'.
So, there were some issues. But they have been fixed now and they added radiant heat. And there are plans for an addition.
