PRINCE'S FORMER BRIDLE PATH MANSION HAS A PRICE DROP (4 Comments)

At the end of 2014, a reader sent in the listing for this 3+1 bedroom, 10 bathroom, 14,280 square foot house on a 280.88 x 305.50 foot lot at 61 The Bridle Path saying I might 'know' the owner of this house.

Then I saw that the listing said...

'Formerly Owned By Acclaimed International Music Celebrity!'

And after seeing the purple basement...

I realized this house was formerly owned by the artist formerly known as Prince.

He was once married to Torontonian Menuela Testolini from 2001 to 2006 and they lived in this house at the time.

When I posted it in 2014, I am not sure if it was still owned by Testolini but there were still odes to the artist such as that purple basement and this thing...

That kind of resembles 'the symbol'...

The asking price then was $12,788,000.

After his death in 2016, it was still sitting on the market.  But I guess soon after that, it had a $5 million increase....

To $17,880,000

It's still on the market and last week, it had a price drop...

To $16,900,000.

And because of that drop...
