58 Farnham Avenue - YONGE AND ST. CLAIR, TORONTO (4 Comments)
On Friday, I posted a house at 44 Walker Avenue in Summerhill that I first posted in 2013...
Which felt like a looong time ago.
But then I realized that there was a house on the market that I had posted even before that. In 2011, I decided to turn my real estate obsession into a website and on that first day, it was this house at 58 Farnham Avenue at Yonge and St. Clair that was on the market and caught my eye.
My whole commentary in that post consisted of this...
This 4 bed, 5 bath, 3500 square feet home at Yonge and St. Clair was recently on the market for $3,495,000. I am not sure what it sold for but the people who owned definitley took good care of it. Everything about it is immaculate.
A great buy if it wasn't for the north facing view of a huge apartment building!
In retrospect, $3.5 for this house 7 years ago seems like a lot.
And maybe it was because this is the living room now...
And here is the living room when I first posted it in 2011...
The furniture is the same!
So.....
Looks like the first post on the MASH may have never sold after all.
The rest of the furniture in the house is different so maybe it did sell and the old owners sold their living room furniture or they never sold and bought new furniture and just kept the living room furniture.
Either way, it's back on the market. And the asking price this time around is...
$5,800,000.
So, I guess we will see if the living room furniture is still the same when this is back on the market for $12,000,000 in 2025!
Then again, that backyard is pretty amazing.
