72 Old Forest Hill Road - FOREST HILL, TORONTO (12 Comments)
This is a 6+2 bedroom, 10 bathroom house on a 70.46 x 169.50 foot lot at 72 Old Forest Hill Road in Forest Hill, Toronto.
It is a house built by Buena Vista Homes with landscape done by Ron Hobrook and the interior done by Lori Morris Design.
And when I saw the interior, the only thing going through my head was...
Other than the hot pink bedroom, the whole house is designed in black and yellow with a white backdrop.
It's a little much for me but I do love this Gilded Pressley King Bed by Bernhardt..
That reminds me of some Kelly Wearstler designs like this bedroom...
And this bedroom formerly owned by Cameron Diaz...
(Actually, this bed is kind of reminding me of the Jamie Lee Curtis scene in True Lies)
But even if you aren't into all the black and gold, a lot of it is furniture and can be changed to add more colour, as well as toning down the yellow with different light fixtures. You just need to really like white because there is a LOT of white, especially on the first floor.
The bedrooms all have ensuites, there is a poker room in the basement as well as a rec room with 3 tvs, and there is a great outdoor space.
Basically, it's amazing.
But the price. It seems kind of high.
And considering it overlooks Spadina which can get quite busy...
It definitely seems high.
This house is listed at...
$12,988,000.
Perhaps if they throw in that bed?
