491 Parkside Drive - HIGH PARK/RONCESVALLES, TORONTO
In December 2014, I posted this 7 bedroom, 6 bathroom triplex (I think) on a 40 x 150 foot lot at 491 Parkside Drive over looking High Park in Roncesvalles/High Park in Toronto.
It was listed at the beginning of November and the listing saying it was for renovators and contractors. The asking price was $989,000.
It eventually sold around $1,300,000 or $1,350,000.
By March 2016, it was on the market again but this time it was listed at $1,349,000. It sold closer to $1.5 million.
It is now on the market AGAIN.
And, no, it hasn't been torn down yet BUT it is being sold with city approval to build an 8,000 square foot 4-plex with a 2 car garage. The computer images of the proposed building (I can't think of the proper word right now!) are below.
And it's interesting.
But the price. It is listed at...
$2,499,000.
That's a big jump in just 2 years.
