Are they serious!?!
This is a 5+2 bedroom, 12 bathroom house on an 80 x 174 foot lot at 138 Dunvegan Road in Forest Hill in Toronto.
It is a house on a lot that used to look like this...
Which I quite like. But being in Forest Hill on a 70 foot lot, it wasn't going to stay.
It looks like it was torn down in the Fall of 2014. The new house was designed by Matthew Sapera Fine Homes who did this amazing Nantucket house that has a lot of similarities to this house.
But there is something about this house that doesn't really seem cohesive, if that is the right word. All the bathrooms seem like they are in different houses. And I feel the dark wood looks a little stark against the light floors.
But this kitchen is kind of awesome...
And I am showing it in the 'panorama view' because it has a good close up of that stone on the island. I really like that stone.
But I think, especially at this price, this place needs to be staged to show more cohesion (again, not sure if that's the right word).
And that back yard...
It's pretty great. But is it $24 million great!?!
I don't know. That price seems pretty crazy to me.
