156 Alton Avenue - LESLIEVILLE, TORONTO (8 Comments)
So, I wouldn’t say this is the best looking house from the outside but…
On the inside, it is a very welcoming home.
It isn’t huge with only 2+1 (sort of) bedrooms and 1 bathroom on a 14 x 90 foot lot but they have used the space really well.
As it is set up now with the bedroom in the back room on the first floor, there is no space for a dining room. But if you only need 2 bedrooms, that would be the perfect space for a dining room or an office if you don’t want a dining room.
The kitchen has lots of storage and counter space with that island.
The floors seem new throughout the house and upstairs, the bedrooms are a good size. The bathroom looks like a good size in the photos but I feel like it might feel small in real life. But it looks like it too has been recently redone.
The basement is unfinished but it is really clean and could be easily used as another space if you are good with the ‘rustic’ look. Or drywall it and your good.
Plus, like the house down the street at 136 Afton Avenue…
This house is located right across the street from Greenwood Park that has a pool, a skating rink, and a really big dog park…
A huge plus if you have a dog.
When I posted the similarly sized house at 136 Afton Avenue in 2015, the asking price was $679,900. It sold for $808,000.
This house is now listed at $799,900.
Unlike the house at 136 Alton Avenue that was detached, this is a row house, it has one less bathroom, and no garage.
But I still think this will fast and probably in low 9s.
