47 Shudell Avenue - THE POCKET, TORONTO (5 Comments)
This is a 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom semi with 1 parking spot on an 18.08 x 70 foot lot at 47 Shudell Avenue in the Pocked south of the Danforth in Toronto.
It’s a good house that used to look like this when it was last listed in 2017…
The asking price was $569,000. It sold for $890,000
Two years later, the house has been totally renovated. Overall, it’s a bright house with nice finishes but there are some quirks.
I don’t get why they didn’t create a porch with stairs at the front insted of the side of the house. There is no space for a proper dining room, only the 4 seater breakfast area. And a built-in bench can’t be put there to fit a full table because that is where the powder room door opens…
Upstairs, the master is on the second floor but I think I would have preferred it on the third floor (even though I prefer 2nd floor masters). But I am not sure a king bed would fit up there.
And the backyard is mostly parking.
But if all this works for you, and there is no reason it couldn’t unless you love having dinner parties or have lots of kids, it’s not a bad choice.
It was initally listed a couple of weeks ago for $1,149,000 so I guess they were hoping for a bidding war that they didn’t get because it is now back on the market for…
$1,419,000.
Too much for a house without a dining room?
