In 2016, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom detached 4,600 square foot house on a 30 x 131.67 foot lot with a 3 car heated garage and 1 front pad parking.
It was a house that had looked like this in 2015…
According to the reader who sent it in, it was listed at $1,800,000 but HouseSigma says it was listed at $1,988,000.
And it never sold.
Over the next year, they painted the outside, took down a wall between the living room and dining room, changed the floors, replaced the kitchen countertop and painted the island, changed the master vanity, added some fake grass...
Which would all probably cost $50,000...$100,000 TOPS.
The asking price was then increased to $3,199,000.
Either there was a huge amount of work done to this house that I can't see or the flippers of this place are hoping to make a million dollars.
It sold a few months later for $3,050,000.
A year and a half later in the summer of 2018, it was leased for $8,000/month.
A year after that in August of 2019, it was back on the market for $3,700,000.
It didn’t sell and the price was dropped in October to $3,688,000. Last month, it was lowered again to $3,499,000.
Time for another drop?
