A year ago, I posted this 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom semi with 1 parking spot on a 17.55 x 84.25 foot lot at 259 Dovercourt Road just south of Dundas in Beaconsfield Village in Toronoto.
It is a house that looked like this in 2012 before a reno began in 2014…
As I pointed out, from the photos in Google streetview, it seems like that reno took 3+ years to complete.
Overall, it was a good house in a good location if you were okay with no storage for your clothes on the third floor and no parking.
The asking price was $2,400,000. I thought that considering the detached house at 48 Foxley Street sold for $2.575 million, that might be a little high.
Turns out it was because in February of this year, the price was dropped to $2,295,000, then to $2,150,000 in March and then to $1,995,000 at the end of October.
It finally sold 2 days ago…
For $1,779,375.
