AND IT WENT FOR - 149 Arnold Avenue - THORNHILL, VAUGHAN

Last week, I posted this 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on a double 100 x 180 foot lot at 149 Arnold Avenue in Thornhill.

It wasn’t my favourite house from the outside, but the inside had a really good feel to it.

I couldn’t tell if it had any recent updates at first because that brick in the kitchen could have been a ‘trendy’ new addition. But then I remembered the house at 34 Scarcliff Gardens in Scarborough…

That had brick everywhere…

Until it was updated by Sarah Richardson for 'Real Potential'…

This house was pretty clearly the original, or at least close to it. But I loved it and I would like it even more with that brick painted white.

But considering it was on a 100 x 180 foot lot and it was surrounded by new builds, I figured this was going to get torn down unless someone bought it as an investment to live in for a while as the property value went up even more.

Basically, it was a great house that was listed at $2,298,000.

It sold the day after I posted it…

For $2.2 million.
