AND IT WENT FOR - 32 Benson Avenue - WYCHWOOD, TORONTO (1 Comment)

Last Wednesday, I posted this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom semi with 2 parking spots on an 18 x 135 foot lot at 32 Benson Avenue in the Wychwood/Hillcrest neighbourhood in Toronto.

It was a well looked after house that showed really well.

And compared to similar semis that have sold over the past year in the neighbourhood…

Like the house at 7 Hendrick Avenue…

That I posted in January when it was listed at $1,099,000 and sold for $1,400,000.

This was basically the same house, but without a garage, so was likely to sell close to the same price but maybe not quite the same price.

But then the house around the corner from this house at 20 Wychwood Street that was listed at $1,099,000 and had a fairly dated kitchen and no finished basement sold for $1,360,000 the night before I posted this house.

So, it looked like there were some people still looking for a 3 bedroom semi who were likely to bid on this place and make it go over ask.

And it looks like there was probably more than one offer because this house sold on the weekend…

For $1,406,000.

So, if you have a semi in Wychwood that you are looking to sell…

It seems like there are still some buyers out there.
