AND IT WENT FOR - 69 Garfield Avenue - MOORE PARK, TORONTO

Three weeks ago, I posted this 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 40 x 125 foot lot at 69 Garfield Avenue in Moore Park in Toronto.

It was a house that I had first posted in 2013 when it was listed at $2,199,000. It sold for $2,375,000 which I thought was a lot at the time.

Since then, there had been some work on the first and second floor. And if you were into black, white, and grey, you would love it. The asking price was $4,100,000 which I didn’t think was so crazy this time around.

But, it didn’t sell and a little over a week ago I posted the price drop down to $3,850,000. Turns out, when I posted it, it had already sold…

For $3,800,000.

Or about an 8% annual growth not counting the renovation.
