I’m already kind of over this Meghan and Harry thing but….

Since the Queen made it official yesterday that Harry and Meghan are moving to Canada..

And presumably to Toronto as this used to be home to Meghan when she rented this house in Seaton Village…

Of course, where ARE they going to live is the next question (besides whether or not they are going to give Oprah a tell-all interview).

And when I thought about where they would live, this 4+1 bedroom, 7 bathroom house on a 122 x 216 foot lot at 43 Russell Hill Road in South Hill came to mind.

It has been for sale since June but was not on the internet until this fall and I had kind of forgotten about it…

Until now.

But as you can see from the main photo above…

It’s private.

It’s gated. It is way up the hill from prying eyes. It kind of looks like a castle (but that may be a downside). And it’s centrally located between Meghan’s old neighbourhood, Yorkville, Rosedale and Summerhill where she sometimes works out.

I wouldn’t say the backyard is a huge selling point with no green lawn…

And parts of the interior are dated.

But the house is private.

Also, I can’t imagine they would make such a move as they have in the last week without also making sure the home they live in is exactly as they wanted (and taffeta walls probably isn’t it). So, they would probably do a huge reno anyway.

That is if the price pre-reno is within their budget. The asking price for this house is…

$11,500,000 (down from $12,800,000).

Plus a reno? That could be costly.

Or maybe they can keep the costs down by keeping that stair runner.
