AND IT WENT FOR - 198 Glenholme Avenue - OAKWOOD, TORONTO

In December, I posted this 4 bedroom, 2 bathroon detached house with 1 parking spot on a 24 x 120 foot lot at 198 Glenholme Avenue in the St. Clair West neighbourhood of Oakwood in Toronto.

It was a house that looked to have been partially renovated around 2015 and what was done was done well. But there were some quirks like the original closet door in one of the bedrooms that I just noticed, the old porch light, and the odd electrical in the unrenovated third floor.

It was listed at $1,099,000 and I thought it was going over.

The following day, I posted a semi at 227 Browning Avenue in Greektown that had a similar feel but was more ‘done’…

I was curious if this house on the west side of city that wasn’t as updated but was detached would sell similar to that house on the east side of the city that was a semi but was fully updated.

The Browning house sold for $1,360,000.

This house sold the following day…

For $1,326,000.
