In 2016, I posted a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house on a 20 x 116 foot lot with no parking at 707 Crawford Street in Bickford Park in Toronto.

It is a house that looked like this…

It had been on the market for a month for $999,000.

Thing is....

This place had been listed months earlier in February 2016for $729,000.  It sold 1 day later for $750,000.  

Two months later, it was on the market with no changes for $250,000 more. And when I posted it a month later, the price had increased to $1,198,000.

There was another increase a week after that to $1,599,000.

It apparently never sold but was redone and put on the market in 2018 for $2,688,000. In April 2018, the price was down to $2,499,000. When I posted it a month later, the price was down to $2,298,000 (not showing on HouseSigma). Two weeks later, it was back up to $2,600,000.

By the summer, it was down to $2,398,000 (HouseSigma says $2,348,000).

It still hasn’t sold and last week, it came back on the market…

For $1,998,000.

That is a little more like it.
