At the end of October, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house with a 2 car garage on a 63 x 113.12 foot lot at 692 Briar Hill Avenue in North Forest Hill in Toronto.

And for some reason, I loved it.

According to the listing, the house has often been used as a “movie set” and with this room…

I could see why.

It was listed at $3,395,000.

I mentioned that I hoped this place would just have a renovation to bring it up-to-date, but with that asking price and seeing some prices of other houses in the neighbourhood, this house probably wouldn’t stay as is.

It sat on the market for 2 weeks but has now sold…

For $2,910,000.

P.S. Apologies for the lack of posts this week. There are tons of houses on the market right now but there isn’t really much that is inspiring me.
