75 Glen Edyth Road - SOUTH HILL, TORONTO (3 Comments)
Four years ago, I posted this 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 67 x 180 foot lot at 75 Glen Edyth Road in South Hill.
It was a good house but I wasn’t sure I was crazy about the look of the front of the house or that the front hall kind of looked like the old lobby of the Passport Offfice at 75 Victoria Street…
This house was previously listed in 2010 when it was the Toronto Life House of the Week. The asking price was $5,880,000.
It never sold and for a few years the price was down to $4,998,000. It was clearly overpriced.
Two years later, it was back on the market for $8,800,000.
A year later, the price was down again to $7,498,000.
Still a little overpriced but it sold…
For $7,100,000.
Three years later, it is back on the market with what looks like few changes other than maybe some paint and new furniture. And I am not sure if this has been featured in Architectural Digest…
It feels like an AD shoot (more photos below).
One thing they didn’t include in these photos was the front hall. But in that picture above, you can see a little bit of it and that it hasn’t changed (I think it would make a big difference if that green paint was gone which it my be here).
The new asking price for this house is now…
$8,490,000.
Maybe this will be Meghan and Harry’s new house though it may look too much like Buckingham Palace for their liking.
Plus, I still think they were the buyers (but not in name) of this house.
