And wondered whether it would be the new house of Meghan and Harry after the Queen made it official that they would be moving to Canada.
It was private and kind of had a castle feel (though that may be something they were looking NOT to get) but would probably need updating for the couple.
It is still on the market.
BUT…..
There is a house that I have posted many times in the past that is no longer on the market. It is the 8+1 bedroom, 11 bathroom, 11,560 square foot house in the header photo with a 4 car garage in Rosedale in Toronto.
I most recently posted it in the fall of 2018 after it had been redesigned and modernized by Katherine Newman.
Newman and this house had just been featured in Canadian House and Home magazine a week earlier…
And a week later, it was back on the market for $18,000,000.
It never sold and year ago, it was back on the market with a new agent and a new asking price of $15,850,000. It didn’t sell and the price was dropped this past September but the listing was terminated a month later.
But according to the listing agent’s website, this house has actually sold.
Annnnd……
Rumour has it…
Meghan and Harry are the new owners.
Is it me…
Or is it kind of a mini Kensington Palace?
UPDATE: Last week, I heard a rumour that this was the house that Meghan and Harry bought. But then yesterday, I heard their security were scoping out this house…
Well, as confirmed by the selling agent of this house earlier today…
The buyers of this house were in fact NOT Meghan and Harry.
And while it turns out that the rumour of them buying this place was not true, this site is about gossip so if I hear more rumours that are coming from credible sources…
I will continue to let you know.
But did they look at least look at it? I’m going with yes.
