90 Fuller Avenue - RONCESVALLES/PARKDALE, TORONTO (5 Comments)

This is a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house with 1 garage and 3 parking spots on a 30 x 109 foot lot at 90 Fuller Avenue in Roncesvalles/Parkdale in Toronto.

It is a house that used to look like this when it was last listed in 2011…

It had been listed at $425,000 and it sold for $560,000.

From the Google streetview, it seems like it was rebuilt and completed around 2014.

And after some googling upon receiving an email about this house, I discovered that the design was presumably done by Sarah Townson* (and maybe Phoenix Grey), a designer at DXT Studio, which happens to be the sister company of INTOR Construction. And according to that website, the company’s founder, Philip DeBarros built this house in a ‘collaborative effort’ with his wife, designer and stylist Alanna Davey so I assume they are the owners. (CORRECTION: Sarah Townson was not involved in this home. It was DeBarros and Davey alone.)

And unless they were doing more work to it in May 2019 when this streetview was taken with INTOR trucks in the driveway…

I would say that offers more confirmation that this is builder’s own house.

And it is a really good house. I like all the finishes. It’s bright and fun with lots of colour in the design. It has a HUGE tv in the basement…

And a few video games…

Not to mention a full gym in the backyard…

That could easily be turned into a party room instead.

The only thing I don’t get is why the first floor mudroom and bathroom and the second floor laundry room take up so much space. And there is no door to the third floor bedroom.

But if those things don’t bother you, this is a great house.

It is listed at $2,988,800. I don’t see it sitting for long.

* UPDATE * : As per the comment below, this house was not designed by Sarah Townsen (or Phoenix Grey) but was designed by DeBarros and Davey with plans done by a female independant architect located in Bloor West Village (if anyone know who, I will update that as well).
