It’s a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with 3 parking spots on a 25.67 x 174.08 square foot irregular ravine lot at 328 Gainsborough Road in Upper Beaches in Toronto.
And it shows really well.
Here is what it looked like when it was last for sale in 2012…
They didn’t make a ton of changes but they did redo the kitchen with new cabinets, counters, and appliances. They opened up the wall between the kitchen and the dining room even more and it looks like they redid the floors.
Upstairs, I am not sure what changes have been made.
But considering there were no photos of the basement in the 2012 listing, I am assuming that basement is new. And it’s kind of awesome.
Plus, the lot is huge and it overlooks the ravine at the very end of a dead end street.
Overall, it is very family friendly (but beware of coyotes).
In 2012, it was listed at $859,000 and sold for $865,000.
With a sort of new kitchen and a fully done basement, the new asking price 8 years later was $1,599,000. It sold yesterday…
For $1,660,000.
I wonder if they threw in that basement couch.
