7 Versailles Court - WINDFIELDS, TORONTO (5 Comments)

A little over a week ago, a reader (thanks!) sent in the listing for this 4 bedroom, 7 bathroom house with a 3 car garage on a 145.54 x 104 foot lot at 7 Versailles Court in the Windfields neighbourhood in Toronto.

It is a house from the 70s that I couldn’t decide if I loved it or hated it.

It sort of reminded me of the house that I liked at 45 Prue Avenue

But this house wasn’t as bright and had WAY more red brick which made it a little dark and depressing. And there was no furniture so it was kind of boring to look at but this bathroom kept my interest…

This place could be interesting.

But then there was a lot of this…

Or completely empty rooms.

Then I saw this…

THAT is amazing. But I really wished I could see it with furniture.

Then I realized that this house has been listed since 2019 when it did have furniture and this is what that room used to look like…

That is amazing.

Here are couple other ‘before’ shots with furniture…

They are really into animal print.

When it was first listed a year ago, the asking price was $5,500,000. Considering it needs a lot of updating, it didn’t sell and the price was dropped 2 months later to $3,999,000. It still didn’t sell and it was dropped again in October to $3,500,000.

It didn’t sell and it came back on the market in June at $3,195,000. The price has been dropped again…

To $2,995,000.

This house does have the potential to be like the Hogg’s Hollow house at 12 York Valley Crescent Road

But it will cost a lot. So, is $3 million the right price? Not sure with that backyard.

P.S. Is it just me or does it show brighter in this video than in the photos below…
