I thought there was something familiar about this house.
It is a 4+2 bedroom, 5 bathroom detached house with a 2 car garage on a 25.13 x 132 foot lot at 136 Dovercourt Road in Beaconsfield Village.
It is a house that used to look like this…
It has since been fully redone and when I saw the photos, there was something about that fireplace…
It reminded me a lot of the fireplace at 68 Dovercourt Road…
And the fireplace at 166 Dovercourt Road…
This fireplace was kind of a mix between the 2.
And it turns out the reason is because the person behind those house…
Is also the person behind this house as well. Laleh Rouhani (who also happens to be the agent) of Luloo Boutique Homes, also did this house (and also 144 Strachan Avenue but it has a more modern fireplace.
Of all of them, this is my favourite but there are some things I find strange like the kitchen doesn’t seem to have a lot of storage, the third floor principal bathroom is quite small, and this is the principal bedroom closet system…
But overall, it is a great house.
In 2016 when it was last for sale, the asking price was $1,188,800 and it sold for $1,621,000.
Three years later, it was back on the market in October 2019 for $3,695,000. I guess it didn’t sell and last week, it came back on the market for…
$3,389,000.
