243 Lonsdale Avenue - FOREST HILL, TORONTO

When I saw this 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on a 50.75 x 75 foot lot at 243 Lonsdale Avenue in Forest Hill, my first thought was that it was weird that the listing photos showed the backyard first.

Turns out the front yard IS the yard which I guess makes sense considering the lot is only 75 feet deep.

The other thing that came to mind after I saw the interior shots of this house was the house at 138 Lonsdale Road that I posted ages ago…

There is something similar to them with the floors, the furniture, and the art.

That house was listed initially in 2008 for $5,200,000. It eventually sold in 2012 for $3,500,000 and has since been totally redone (I assume from the looks of the outside) but it was a 5 bedroom, 8 bathroom house.

This house is much smaller but a good option if you like the feel of the Bedford house before but were looking for something smaller…

As long as you don’t mind your lawn being basically on the street though there are hedges for privacy.

This house is listed at $3,999,000.

While it isn’t your typical yard and there is only 2 bedrooms at a fairly high asking price, I have a feeling this won’t sit for long.
