11 Riverside Crescent - SWANSEA, TORONTO

This is a 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house with a 1 car garage and 3 parking spots on a 75 x 257.50 foot lot at 11 Riverside Crescent in Swansea in Toronto.

It is a house that used to look like this when it was last for sale in 2018…

It has since been completely renovated.

According to the Google street view, it was done by David Small Design. This house is not on his website but here is a video of him talking about his own current house…

Which made me think of the house at 15 Wood Dale Drive in St. Catharines that was done by in 1960 by architect James E. Secord (yes, related to Laura)…

This house is not the same style as those 2 houses but it is a very good renovation. While it did have a lot of windows before, this house now has floor to ceiling windows overlooking Humber River and it is very bright.

All the rooms are separate in the first floor but it feels open. And instead of a table in the kitchen, I personally would prefer to big, comfortable chairs.

It has a dog shower in the laundry room just off the garage but there is no fence to keep the dog on the property. I suppose you could get an invisible dog gate though.

The bedrooms are all a good size with bathrooms with nice finishes.

Basically, it is a great move-in-ready house with a cottage like setting.

In 2018, the asking price was $3,200,000. After a price drop, the house eventually sold for $2,875,000.

It came back on the market at the end of September…

For $6,995,000.

Was it a $4 million reno? I doubt it but it is a good house.
