The listing for this house says it is a ‘hidden gem’.

It’s a hidden gem because no one would think this house looked like it does on the inside from the look of the front of the house.

Here is what this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 23 x 150 foot lot at 125 Torrens Avenue in Pape Village in Toronto used to look like in 2019…

Now, it looks exactly the same on the outside and I wouldn’t say I love it…at all.

But on the inside, it has been completely renovated. And it is a really good renovation in what the listing says is Japandi-designed.

I don’t get it. If you are going to redo the inside of the house like this, why not at least paint the house!?! Or replace those front windows and the door?

In 2019, it was listed at $799,900 and it sold for $850,000.

After the renovation, it was initially listed at the end of October for $1,829,000. It didn’t sell and the price was dropped to $1,499,000 a week later.

It still hasn’t sold and it came back on the market today…

For $1,199,000.
