46 Virginia Avenue - EAST YORK, TORONTO
Last February, I posted a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 23 x 150 foot lot at 125 Torrens Avenue in Pape Village in Toronto…
From the exterior, you wouldn’t expect to see what was on the inside but it was a really well done ‘Japandi’ house. Or as the listing said, ‘a hidden gem’.
This house has a very similar feel on the inside though I am not sure if it was done by the same person. But the front showed a lot better even if you aren’t into this style.
And this house shows really well on the inside with a full tree in the living room and second floor. But, I’m a little confused with some design ideas like the open bathrooms in a couple of the bedrooms…
This is an image looking into a bedroom from the door. The bathroom is completely open! Right at the bedroom door!!!!
I don’t get it.
It’s not like they couldn’t have built a wall and had a proper door going into the washroom or at least a barn door. But the good news in that case is that if you do like this house but not the open washrooms, I think it is possible to close those off.
If I’m wrong, that might be why this house has been sitting now for 2 weeks.
This is a 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house with 1 garage and 4 parking spots on a 32 x 105 foot lot at 46 Virginia Avenue in East York in Toronto.
It used to look like this in 2013 when it sold for $543,000…
It was then torn down and replaced with this house that sold in 2019 for $2,08,880 after being listed for $1,500,000.
It is now on the market for…
$2,700,000.
