In November, I posted this 4+1 bedrooms, 6 bathroom semi with 1 parking spot on a 22 x 167 foot lot at 17 Dunbar Road in Rosedale in Toronto.

I had originally posted it in May 2021 when it looked like this…

It was a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom house at the time and I was really curious about the house because this was the lot…

It was listed at $2,000,000 and it sold for $2,875,000.

It was then fully redone and came back on the market in November and it showed really well. But they didn’t extend it which I think would have made the family room and ‘dining room’ seem less cramped.

And they did nothing with the backyard other than cleaning it up. Here is what it looked like in 2021…

It looks good but now that the house has been done and there isn’t a lot of space between this house and the house beside it, it will be a bit complicated to build anything back there. As one reader mentioned, they will probably need a crane to get anything back there.

While the house shows really well and the lot is huge…

$5,895,000!?!

That seemed really high to me and it looks like I was not the only one who thought that was pretty high because this house is still on the market and it just had a price drop…

To $5,649,000.

Is that enough?
