11 Beaumont Road - ROSEDALE, TORONTO
In January 2020, I posted a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 60 x 100 foot lot at 714 Walkerfield Avenue in Peterborough, Ontario.
It was a house that was designed by well-known architect, Eberhard Zeidler, the man behind the Eaton Centre, Ontario Place, the Hamilton University Health Science Centre and this house that was one of the houses that inspired me to start this blog.
it was Zeidler’s own family home from 1969 until the time that it sold in 2010. The asking price was $4,998,000 and it sold for $4,200,000.
It has now been completely redone by Peter Clewes of Architects-Alliance.
While, I loved the 70s vibe before the renovation it now has is very modern and minimalistic feel to it that actually kind of reminds me of the Eaton Centre. I suppose that could be changed with furniture and art but I feel like that was not the current architects intention.
