Six months ago, I posted this this 7 bedroom, 9 bathroom house on a 75 x 194 foot lot at 2 Castle Frank Road in South Rosedale in Toronto.
It was a house that looked like this when I posted it ages ago…
I really liked the house but not the white wash paint.
It had been on the market for $5,995,000 after an initial price of $7,500,000 in 2010 and then a price drop to $6,995,000. After 2 years on the market, it finally sold for $6,600,000.
Four years later, it was back on the market for $6,750,000. It sold for $6,225,000.
Since then, they got rid of the white paint (so much better, right?) and they did some work on the inside and in the back yard. There weren’t a lot of photos so it was hard to see the extent of the work but I assume it was a lot because when it came back on the. market last September, the asking price was…
$16,595,000.
Nine months later, this house house finally sold a month ago…
$15,075,000.
