Last week, a reader sent in the listing for this 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom semi on a 15 x 104 foot lot at 58 Greensides Avenue in Wychwood in Toronto.

As I was going through the photos, I was thinking it’s not a bad house but I wasn’t sure I would say it was gorgeous. It felt like a pretty standard semi.

Then I got to the kitchen and those back doors with the matching doors on the second floor. Again, I wouldn’t say the house was great but it was definitely charming. And then when I got to the backyard, it just got more charming. I just wish they had used a power washer, especially on the garage wall.

Otherwise, it was a move in ready house in a good location.

When it was last for sale in 2007, the asking price was $399,900 and it looked like this…

It sold for $411,000.

By 2017, it was on the market again with a full renovation but that time, it was for lease. Since then, it was leased 4 times until now for about $4,100/month.

Last week it came on the market for $1,099,000.

It sold in 2 days…

For $1,325,000.
