PRICE DROP - 39 Howland Avenue - ANNEX
When this house was first listed a month ago, I became a little obsessed with it.
It is currently 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and it sits on 31 x 127 foot lot. It needs work but there is soooo much potential in this house.
It was listed at $1,895,000.
I thought it would sell fast and for closer to $1,950,000 even though that new garage takes up a lot of the backyard.
But I hadn't noticed that odd third floor layout with that bathroom stuck in a corner through a bedroom.
Clearly, more work needs to be done on the house than I originally thought but it could still be amazing.
But it hasn't sold and the price has dropped.
The new price is $1,795,000.
Is that too high still considering a semi down the street at 21 Howland Ave that probably needs a little bit more work just sold for $1,511,000?
I don't think so. I think considering that weirdness of the second floor layout that perhaps this isn't a $1,950,000 house as I originally thought but I think the first listing price was good.
Perhaps this drop will bring more attention.
P.S. My computer issues have been resolved and the computer was spared a toss out the window!!!! Apologies for the lack of posts but I am going to try to catch up as much as I can!
