27 Vesta Drive - FOREST HILL (CLICK PHOTO TO READ MORE!)
Yesterday, a reader (thanks E!) sent in this 5+1 bedroom, 7 bathroom house at 27 Vesta Drive saying that it was the personal home of designer Harvey Wise (fyi...the Harvey Wise Design website is still 'under construction').
Wise is the designer behind the house at 48 Hawthorn Avenue in South Rosedale (that took forever to sell even though I really liked it)...
The house at 113 Inglewood Drive in Moore Park...
And the York Mills house at 34 Beechwood Avenue...
All the houses were good houses in a traditional manner. It's not necessarily my thing, but I can see the appeal.
And this house is no different.
It's a new build that looked like this 3 years ago...
So, they got a lot of house on this 38 x 150.75 foot lot.
It's a typical new build with a typical new build layout, but it's a layout that works. The master fireplace is a nice touch as is the indoor/outdoor fireplace on the patio.
Basically, it's a very solid, non-gaudy Forest Hill house.
And like the Harvey Wise designed house I mentioned above at 34 Beechwood Avenue...

The asking price for this house is $4,995,000.
I don't think this will sell for ask, but it won't sit long.
P.S. Do you like the front door? I'm not sure I like the front door.
