It was a price drop from the original listing in December.
When it was first listed, the asking price was $2,279,000. Though it was a good house with some minor interior changes andan addition of a pool from its 2008 listing at $1,790,000, I still thought it was a little overpriced.
It didn't sell and in the meantime, a neighbour at 38 Fallingbrook Drive...
That looks the very similar, but a little darker overall, and without a pool, was listed in March at $2,249,000.
Both sat on the market for a while until this house at 42 Fallingbrook had the price drop 3 weeks ago to $2,195,000.
I wondered when the 38 Fallingbrook drop would happen.
Well, on May 10, this house sold for $2,125,000....
And 5 days later, 38 Fallingbrook dropped to the same price.
It will need another drop.
