AND IT WENT FOR - 61 Hemford Crescent - DON MILLS

In January, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom new build on a 41 x 110 foot lot at 61 Hemford Crescent in Don Mills.

It used to look like this...

Though the listing said the new build was over 5,000 square feet, it didn't feel like it though the bedrooms were a good size.

And I wasn't loving the mix of all the materials used in the house.

It was listed at $2,590,000 and it had been at that price since November.

When a reader sent it in, I thought I had seen the house before, but that it was listed at $2.1 or $2.2 which to me would have made more sense...

Because this backyard...

Wasn't worth the same as the backyard at 53 Hemford Crescent...

That sold for $2,350,000 a year earlier.

A week ago, the price for this house was dropped to $2,480,000.

It sold in 7 days...

For $2,330,000.

Hmm.  Not bad.  

Maybe they added some landscaping.
