I can't believe it.
The 3+1 bedroom, 3 bathroom Barton Meyers house on a 37.63 x 165.74 foot lot at 51 Roxborough Drive that was built in 1974 has finally sold!
It was first listed in September 2012 for $6,500,000.
I thought it was too high.....like a million or so too high.
It didn't sell and the price was dropped in May 2013 to $5,995,000.
And then in November to $5,595,000.
Then in March 2014 to $5,195,000. I still thought it was too high.
In September 2014, the price was dropped to $4,995,000.
Most recently, in May 2015, the price was dropped again to $4,695,000. I didn't think it was the last drop.
It was. But the house didn't sell at the asking price. It sold below.
But it sold!
Just under $2 million less than the first asking price...
After 3 years on the market and 5 price drops....
This house finally sold...
For $4,554,000.
