Yesterday, I posted the sale of a house at 140 First Avenue in Riverside.  It was a house that was listed in mid-June. 

And it was a house that I said would get sold before this house.

At the end of May, I posted this 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom semi with 2 parking spots on a 16.60 x 126.00 foot lot at 72 First Avenue in Riverside.  It was a flip.

As far as flips go, it is a good one.  I just didn't understand why they didn't at least paint this door...

It was listed at $999,000.  I thought it would sell closer to $1,225,000.

A week later, a reader let me know that there were offers for the sale but the highest offer of $1,350,000 was not accepted.  Instead, the price was increased to $1,499,000.

I thought that was kind of crazy.

Well, after a month, this house finally sold...

For $1,450,000.
