PRICE INCREASE - 56 Lakeview Avenue - DUFFERIN GROVE, TORONTO

A little over a week ago, I posted this 3+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom semi with a 1 car garage on a 20.75 x 110 foot lot at 56 Lakeview Avenue in Dufferin Grove in Toronto.

It was a house that I initially posted when it looked like this outside…

And this on the inside…

It was listed at $749,900 and sold for $930,000. It was then renovated and back on the market 6 years later for $2,498,000. It sold after 2 months on the market for $2,430,000.

It came back on the market with a few changes such as the fireplace, the addition of some wallpaper in some of the rooms, and the built-in and new floors on the third floor.

When I posted it, I was unaware of the new roof, roofline, and finished basement so thought the price was a little high so I thought the asking price was $3,389,000.

. But I guess that asking price was not actually the selling price they were looking for because the price of this house has now changed…

To $3,500,000.

P.S. Anyone know who did the reno after the 2013 sale? Asking for a reader.
