56 Lakeview Avenue - DUFFERIN GROVE *UPDATE*
This is a 3+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom semi with a 1 car garage on a 20.75 x 110 foot lot at 56 Lakeview Avenue in Dufferin Grove in Toronto.
If it looks familiar, it is because I have posted it several times in the past.
The first time I posted it, it looked like this on the outside…

It was listed at $749,900 and sold for $930,000.
It was then renovated and back on the market 6 years later for $2,498,000. I didn’t think it would sit for long but I guess because it was only a 3+1 bedroom house, it may have seemed a bit high. It sold after 2 months on the market for $2,430,000.
It is now back on the market with some changes to the fireplace (so much better), the addition of some wallpaper in some of the rooms, and a built-in bar and new flooring on the third floor.
The asking price is now…
$3,389,000.
Ummm, those upgrades must have been….
*UPDATE*: Apparently there were more updates to this house than I mentioned. According to the owner who emailed after the post…
An old slate roof that needed to be replaced, steel doors were put in the back and the roofline was changed on the third floor. The basement was 80% unfinished when the home was purchased.

And yes, apparently that was a working toilet in the middle of the room.
So, a lot more done to the house than previously posted
