Though this house has sold, I thought it was worth posting as a way to show how a good agent markets her house.
Not to mention that I love the decor of this house. I am not really sure what is happening with the stools in the kitchen as they seem to have once been black leather but are now industrial wood stools. The owner of this house has clearly embraced the industrial trend and it looks great mixed in with the mid century modern furnishings.
But back to the agent...her sell sheet is FULL of information about the neighbourhood and she has even included a walk through video (see below) of the house highlighting the features. This would definitley make me want to come out and see this house.
But no one ever made it out to see this house. The agent did an excellent job of getting the house ready, setting up great pictures and outlining all its amazing features and before the open house happened, even before it was listed, someone came in and offered 4% over asking. The owners were asking $1,150,000 and the bid was $1,200,000.
Perhaps the house sold itself but seeing the work the agent put in to get it ready to list...that's how you do it.
