It has always been a good neighbourhood but it is becoming even more family friendly. It is a nice place to buy in a neighbourhood with great potential without the Riverdale prices.
The one on the left is $799,000 and the one on the right is $779,000.

1063 Logan Avenue
This detached 3+1 bedroom,2 bath house is charming looking from the outside but the street is fairly busy. There is a lot of potential for this house but there is too much work to be done to warrant such a high price tag.
Firstly, retake the picture of the living room where it looks like the cat is pissing on the rug. No potential buyers want to see that!!! Though it is drab, that living room would look pretty good otherwise.
And perhaps there is a better art choice than the portrait of Michael Jackson in his Thriller jacket looking over you while you sleep. I don't care if the jacket just sold for $1.8 million. It's creepy.
The kitchen looks like it has recently been done through Home Depot and it is nice but it is small. And the backyard looks alright but like it might need some tidying. Or maybe that is just the grainy pictures!
If you are up for putting a little work into this place, it could be really nice but the price is HIGH!!
Seriously, the cat needs to not be in these pictures...
161 Fulton Avenue
Though this house is a semi, I think it is priced right at $799,000 (and it is almost half the price of this house in Riverdale!).
It is only about 600 feet away from the Logan house but the street is much nicer and the house itself is soooo much nicer. There are quirks and the furniture helps make this house look 10 times better but the house itself is so much better.
I really like that fireplace. It has nice stone inside and the black marble looks good. I have never loved the houses with the stairs jutting out into the room but there seems to be enough space here that it doesn't really matter.
The kitchen is opened up and is a nice size. There seems to be lots of storage but I think a bigger window or better yet, French doors to the backyard would make this first floor amazing! Problem is, the backyard isn't huge but it could still be nice.
This house has 4+1 bedrooms compared to the other at 3+1. And there are 3 bathrooms versus 2. The bedrooms are a pretty good size. I am not sure what is going on with the bathroom that looks like the shower is a foot wide but there is another one that is a really good size. It would definitely be depressing to work out in that closet, especially knowing you only have one outfit to wear afterwards, but it is a nice and large if your wardrobe is a little bit larger.
I think this house is a really good buy! And a slam dunk compared to the house around the corner.
