This is a beautiful old mansion in Rosedale. It is huge and the lot is REALLY huge.
It is 85.42 x 304 feet. That is CRAZY!
And this house hasn't been touched, maybe ever.
It is ready for a full gut and it better not be by a flipper!
But at $4,500,000, that is probably out of most flippers price range. Unless it is possible to get rid of the pool and sell that extra lot of land to the side of the house!
If this house on Whitehall can be purchased, rebuilt and sold for $3,000,000, why can't a new build go up there and be sold for $3,000,000-$4,000,000? Would this outrage the neighbours? Probably. Especially if they built a house like the one on Astley.
There is so much potential in this house. But you would need A LOT of money. Selling the land might be the only way to do it.
And whoever buys it better not mess it up. This is a beautiful old Toronto mansion and the building should stay as it is. Don't mess with it. Just make it better!
And yes, that is a castle beside it.
