21 Old Hopeall Road - GREEN'S HARBOUR, NEWFOUNDLAND
Before I continue my post of this red and white home, I just wanted to say...
Happy Belated Canada Day!!!
In the spirit of Canada Day, I am posting this red and white house in Green's Harbour in Newfoundland.
I have never been to Newfoundland so I googled the town. This is one of the pictures that came up...
That wedding picture is awesome. Love the red shoes!
Can that picture be any more Canadian? (If you have some time, the photography site where it comes from is worth a visit.)
This is a 9,000 square foot, 10 bedroom home on 86 acres of waterfront property.
This house isn't as interesting as that couple above but it is just as Canadian on the outside and though I don't love the inside, it is still worth checking out...
It has been 'developed and outfitted by Nolan Hall', what seems to be a real estate developer and agency.
I don't love how the house is done but it is done.
There is WAY too much leather furniture for me and it looks like it is right out of a showroom. Not a bad thing I guess if that is your style.
It is too bad that the charm of the old house wasn't left in tact, kind of like the house in Chester with a little less cottage feel. But this is a house that is at least beautiful on the outside with views and property that are incredible.
And some horses that seem to have a little personality at least...
