SOLD - 1092 Argyle Drive - OAKVILLE
This house just sold in Oakville. Considering this house has been listed at $11,499,000 since August, I don't understand why they didn't use a summer picture like the one from the street view...
It looks so much better with all the landscaping.
There is no landscaping happening in the backyard though except for one lone tree.
I am guessing the neighbours aren't crazy about the kayaks that are basically in their backyard, or at least the neighbours are the only ones who can see them...
And other than the kayaks, the only fun thing in this house is the bar...
It is a pretty good bar but where's the beer tap!?!
The house isn't super exciting but there also aren't a lot of pictures. There must be a wine cellar, a gym, a media room, a steam room, whatever else, but there are no photos.
This house is 5+1 bedrooms, 7+2 bathrooms in 7,889 square feet plus the 6,501 square feet lower level (how does that work!?!), all on a 126.6 x 160 foot lot right on the water.
It has sold but like me, I am guessing the buyer thought it was a little boring (or maybe it was the tiled floor thoughout the first floor) because it didn't sell for asking.
After 3 months on the market, this house sold for 81% of list at $9,360,000.
Still....not too shabby.
