So, do you think the current owners of this 3+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in Trinity-Bellwoods just bought all their furniture from the older couple that used to live in this house for 40 years?
Like all that teak, the kitchen table, and the Kit-Cat clock!?!
That furniture looks like it has been there forever but I really like it. Actually, it's pretty clear that a lot of thought has been put into this house.
And I love that instead of gutting the whole place, they worked with what they had.
This house sits on a 23.67 x 40 foot lot so it isn't huge but it works. Like the neighbour down the street at 18 Givins Street, they have a driveway but use it as a backyard (or sideyard in this case). But this one is bigger and could be used as both.
18 Givins Street had a new kitchen, new windows, and a family room. It was listed at $719,000 and sold for $###,###.
Though this house is a really good example of making a great house with what you have, it could use some work.
It was listed at $599,000.

For $669,000!!!
Perhaps the house down the street at 16 Givins that is currently for sale should borrow some of that furniture!!!
It clearly helped in the sale of this place!
