RELISTED - 100 Ardwold Gate - CASA LOMA
This is a 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on an 80 x 'irregular' foot lot at 100 Ardwold Gate in Casa Loma.
I first posted it two years ago when it was listed at $2,050,000.
It was a rundown house (which is what I meant to say yesterday instead of gutter in my last post at 829 Seaton Avenue, but was so creeped out by the house that I got confused!).
This house was built in 1980 and it looked like nothing had been touched since then. So, the inside of the house was rundown.
It wasn't a gutter, but it was possibly a tear down. But because of the tiny backyard, I didn't think it was going to get torn down and get replaced with something like the house down the street that I posted last week at 50 Ardwold Gate.
And it didn't.
They ripped out that 35 year old carpet, put down some hardwood, changed some tile, updated the bathrooms, painted the kitchen, changed the front door trim and added a window (which lookes odd to me).

This house is now on the market again.
The new asking price is $2,350,000.
So, 2 years, new hard wood and new bathrooms. Is that worth $300,000?
I think so.
This house will sell fast and probably closer to $2,450,000.
It's just really too bad about that backyard.
