This house is a rooming house that, as reported by theCBC, caught fire on October 8th...
Thankfully, like Sweet Brown, all the residents got out (with help from neighbours), though there were critical injuries.
Actually, one resident was so critically injured that he is still in the hospital....9 months later.

The owner of this house was just fined $350,000, which includes $290,000 in fines and $70,000 in court costs.
As recently as last week, this house was undergoing a renovation...
Two days ago...
This house was put on the market.
The asking price is $899,000.
Ummm....sure, it had a reno that is '

. And I'm not saying the reno wasn't done well because I have no idea (it's kind of hard to tell from those stairs). It could be an immaculate reno and an amazing move in ready house now...
But if I were going to be spending $900,000 on a duplex semi just north of Dundas...
I would definitely want to know for certain that this house was done right. There are some renos that aren't. Just ask the people at 290 Roxton Road!
So....this house could be a great opportunity if the reno was done well...
But....ummm.... you might want to get a house inspection!
