RELISTED - 106 Crescent Road - ROSEDALE

In July 2012, I posted this 5+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on a 36 x 138.73 foot lot at 106 Crescent Road in South Rosedale.

I liked the look and style of it, but I thought the $3,379,000 price tag was a bit high...unless it came with all the furniture.  But even that would have been too high.

It never sold and it was relisted for the same price. 

Still no sale and by September 2013, it was finally relisted at a price drop.  This time, the asking was $3,195,000.

It finally sold in January 2014 for $3,042,235.

Now, it is back on the market and the listing says...

Attention Renovators, Builders. Wonderful Opportunity To Imprint Your Personal Taste On Classically Handsome Rosedale Beauty In Fantastic Location

And the listing also says...

Open Permits For Interior Renovations And For Rear Addition That Is Already Complete But Has Zoning Requirements That Need To Be Met Related To Depth, Height. 

So, does that mean that the rear addition has been done?  And if it has, don't you find it weird that the new listing price is...

$2,499,000!!!

That is $543,235 LESS that what it sold for only 8 months ago!!!!!

What's the deal?  Was that a REALLY bad typo?

Because that is a BIG loss.

So...if it isn't a tiype, this house is either completely messed up...

 OR... 

This is some insane bidding war strategy.
