AND IT WENT FOR - 14 Douglas Crescent - GOVERNOR'S BRIDGE (CLICK PHOTO TO READ MORE!)

Three years ago, when I thought it was a good idea, and that it would also be possible, to do a weekly newsletter...

I posted this house on a 60 x 160 foot lot at 14 Douglas Crescent in Governor's Bridge, a little neighbourhood located between Rosedale and Leaside.

It was listed at $1,600,000.

This was basically a tear down and considering that this wasn't on the ravine like the houses on the south side of the street, or the house down the street at 63 Douglas Crescent (which is going to have to see another price drop before it sells)...

I thought that price was crazy.

It never sold and the price was dropped the following year to $1,549,000.  It's been on and off the market since then and 15 days ago...

It was relisted at $1,485,000.

It has finally sold...

For $1,295,000.

So, a modern new build like the one at 51 Welland Avenue in Moore Park that will be listed in a year or year and a half for $2,895,000?
