So here is a clear picture of this house at 39 Victor Avenue in Riverdale...
Bit of a difference, no?
Looks like they painted the porch, but I can't figure out if they painted the cedar too.
According to the listing, this is a 4+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi on a 21.75 x 112 foot lot and it says that the 3rd floor would make a great master suite, and there is potential for front pad parking.
I don't see a third floor, and I can't figure out how 4+1 bedrooms fit in this place. Plus, I thought the city was no longer giving out parking pad permits.
But this house has a lot of potential.
I like the separate rooms on the first floor, but perhaps the dining room could be opened a bit to the kitchen.
The kitchen is large and a good IKEA kitchen would look great here. There are no photos of the back of the house, but the lot seems big enough to do a family room addition.
Upstairs, one of the bedrooms could be made into a bathroom/dressing room for a master suite if you didn't want to open up the third floor.
Basically, even without a lot of photos, this house seems like it has a lot of options.
It is listed at $675,000.
This could be fixed up with just some new paint, a new floor (the current floor looks rough), and an IKEA kitchen and bathrooms...
Or I'm guessing this place could be done top to bottom for $300,000.
Could this be a $1,000,000 house when that is done?
If the row house at 114 Victor Avenue could sell for $915,000...
This could definitely sell for $1,000,000 once all done.
This will sell over ask. Probably closer to $775,000.
